The Longlake Festival 2012 is back with its rich program of free cultural events animating Lugano’s streets, parks and squares with hundreds of happenings ranging from cinema to theatre, from music to cabaret.

More than 200 events will take place along the Lake in an international environment that once again will see the participation of major international guests making of Longlake Festival 2012 a true must if you are spending your summer on Lake Como.

Six thematic sections (International, Buskers, Aul, Family, Estival Jazz and Words) have been created to make the festival accessible to all visitors.

From Theatre to Music, different disciplines for different scenes at the Longlake Festival Lugano 2012

The Buskers section, taking place from 18 to 22 July, will give a special stage to street art disciplines such as jazz, folk and rock music together with puppets theatre shows and other original and innovative performances.

Words, the literary section of Longlake Festival 2012, will give voice to writers and performers in the spectacular locations of Park Ciani and the Ex-Public Slaughterhouse.
